This is the pond within the Velamsund nature preserve south-east of Stockholm. Frozen in December here, but great swimming, farm and exploring nearby.
The town of Gustavsberg, a 20 minute drive from Stockholm, is a historical industry town with a population of 11,333. The town dates back to 1640. There are still several old houses that were used by the workers at the famous porslain industry. Today these houses and cottages have been restored and sold to private residents. But the houses are still a reminder of a town that used to be a flourishing industry town.

I was on floor -1 and it was extremely noisy from above, potentially the bar area. Sounded like tables and chairs were constantly being moved about, it was noisy until around 11pm in the evening.

Great location, buzzy bar, great staff, everything clean, comfortable bed, very small shower but, the room was so tiny it was ridiculous, we had to take turns walking around it!

Just south of Stockholm is Saltsjobaden and at the end of the peninsula is the old Grand Hotel. Beautiful walk in winter around the beach and quaint harbor. Must be doubly fun in summer!
