"The property had enough room for 10 adults to spread out comfortably. The view was beautiful. The larger house is much nicer than smaller cabin. The smaller cabin is very rustic and smells like an old camp. The listing had a fire pit listed but none was provided. The property is steep in some parts and those with limited mobility may have a hard time accessing some of the property."

"Beautiful place. Loons, eagles, Ospreys, and good fishing. No A/C made a couple of days miserable when heat and humidity was in the mid-nineties. Many fans available, though. Would be more ethical to let people know before booking that tap water is not drinkable. Saying a kayak is available is a bit of a stretch (small plastic boat)."

"We have stayed on this lake many times and this was our first stay at this property. We absolutely loved it. The yard is huge and flat. Which made it wonderful for yard games and being comfortable outside. The dock was large enough to tie up our boat and for friends to come visit that were also staying at the lake. "This was truly a unique stay. We boated out to the private island where we enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Octagon which had everything we needed. The deck was amazing. The location was amazing nestled amongst the trees with a short path to the water with a private dock and breathtaking views. We kayaked around the island and fished right off our dock. We truly enjoyed our restful retreat and the hospitality of the hosts."

"We spent two nights at the cabin as a family of 4 with two kids 11 and 15 they had fun sleeping in the loft (but it’s definitely for the able-bodied to get up and down from there). The house is rustic and charming and has everything you need. We went out on the lake using the kayaks and made s’mores in the outdoor fire. "

"This is a very cozy home that gives plenty of space to relax and spread out. The canoe and 2 kayaks were fantastic to have access to and this is a great location on Togus Pond. The kitchen is well stocked and we had all we needed for the bathrooms. We would definitely return!"
