In the old town, in the streets west of Stora Torget, you will find many beautiful houses and buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. For example, visit Aspagården at Västra Kyrkogatan 9 from the second half of the 17th century or the Västervik Museum north of the city center, which provides information about the city's culture and history. The island of Gränsö is also recommended and here you can experience the archipelago coast in the Gränsö nature reserve. Golfers will also get their money's worth here.
