"The unit is in an older building (dating to 1904), but you couldn't tell from the state of the inside. Everything was modern and quite tasteful. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Far enough outside of town to be in a quiet area, but close enough in that around a 20 minute drive will get you to the tourist areas of downtown Nuremburg. My only criticism (and this is a uniquely American thing) - I wish we had brought more fans, as the bedrooms were a little warm for us. This does not detract...

"We stayed during Nuremberg's Christmas Market season. There is a bus stop, a store, and several restaurants within 10 minutes' walk, and the house is in a cul-de-sac so sheltered from road noise. Oven/stove, dishwasher, and washer/dryer all worked (note it seems you have to set a time on the dishwasher, no instant function). Note also there is no freezer, so buy fresh food if you intend to cook. We had to call the landlord once and he was quite nice, but does not speak much English so try to...
