Great hotel in a great location
I really liked this hotel. In an excellent location in the centre of town and opposite the train station. Also had an entrance into the local library which for me was a real bonus. The room was a good size. Very comfortable bed with a good choice of different pillows. Excellent breakfast with a good choice of items. My only criticism here was the coffee being served in glasses with no handles meaning hot to handle. Hotel decor was excellent. Worth taking the stairs instead of the lift for a quick art trip around the world! All in all an excellent hotel. Would definitely stay again if I am back in Kolding.

Friendly staff. Room incredibly basic and poorly designed with no Air-con, no bottled water, not enough towels or pillows and oddly no shower mat. Free breakfast was tasty but last booking is for 08.00 which is far too early.

It is nice with large windows but staying on the first floor it would have been good to be able to blind half way up. The only way to cover from being on full display to the pedestrian area outside was to darken the room completely with the large curtains. Doing so it was not possible to get fresh (and cool) air into the room.

Dejligt værelse, lækker morgenmad’s buffet - god stemning og venlig betjening. Parkerede i P-hus under hotellet, hvorfra der var elevator op til den etage værelset lå på. Hotel Kolding er centralt beliggende, absolut et hotel jeg har lyst til at genbesøge.

Beliggenhed - her kan man virkelig tale om central
Beliggenhed - her kan man virkelig tale om central beliggenhed. Hotellet ligger direkte overfor togstationen, som støder op til byens gågader og centrale midtby. Her er et pænt rent, rummeligt værelse, dog kun med en stol, og med alt tilbehør såsom hårtørrer og strygebræt og - jern. Selv stikkontakter sidder der, hvor der er brug for dem. Dejlig meget reol plads på badeværelset til alle dele i toilettasken. Morgenmaden er fuldstændig formidable og indeholder alt, hvad hjertet kan begære. Bemærkning fra netop vores ophold i november: elevator fungerede ikke, og kopperne på værelset til hjemmelavet te, er alt for varme udenpå. Teen bliver kold, før den kan drikkes.
