Could have been wonderful
A weird experience. It proved impossible to contact the owner, Leif. We tried repeatedly and spent our first day in a cafe with wonderful Spaniards who helped us track down the owner and you. They suggested we also went for help from a local estate agent. Between them, they got your details and those of the owner. We spent all day trying to contact Lief. Finally, he replied with the number of the flat and the key safe code. We didn’t have a car. The cafe owner drove us up there. The flat was quite clean. I had to search for and find a double sheet for the bed and improvised with single duvets, 3 pillow cases and what I could find. The real disadvantage was that, although it had a lovely view of Caleta, it was at the top of a very steep hill, which should be described in your account of the flat. I couldn’t walk down!
Found a fantastic taxista who helped enormously. During the last week I sent a message about the lack of bed linen and new towels for the next holiday makers. No reply.
Add to this the fact that we actually thought this was a scam, and that we’d paid out to an owner who didn’t exist. Basics, loo roll, yes, bin liners no. Hair dryer, no. Cleaner came, we agreed we would dust, etc., as her mother very I’ll and going back to Denmark. I messaged to ask if he had a new cleaner, clean bed linen. No reply.
