"We stayed here with our kids (16,13 and 12) and it was a lovely lodge. We loved the hot tub and how peaceful the location was. I’ve given the overall rating a 3 out of 5 as I felt there were some things that could be improved. There was a lot of black mould in the bottom of the shower, there were no locks on bathroom doors and the boiler in one of the rooms was very loud and kept the kids awake at points during the night. Overall, we would come back to this lodge, however not in the summer...

"A lovely 3 night Stay in Hay on Wye. The cottage is stunning and so well located for browsing the shops, the sights and the castle and perfect to pop back and forth if needed. Very central but also very peaceful. Communication from Sue was amazing and she was really accommodating and generous throughout our stay. I would book here again in a heartbeat."

"Beautiful quite farm setting, well equipped accommodation. Our host was available if needed just across the yard. Julian was very helpful with travel trips for interesting destinations. Pub suggestions too! Would definitely consider staying again if returning to the area."

"We enjoyed our holiday and the really lovely countryside in this part of Herefordshire. Walks and bike rides were wonderful as well as excellent garden visiting. We were a bit disappointed by the cottage. It was not as clean as we expected and was quite cluttered e.g. large paintings stored behind the bedroom door. The internal paintwork needs refreshing and the garden table and sun shade are quite unappealing. For a four star property at the price paid, the standard should have been higher."

"Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again."
