"Very large hotel in spreadout area with broad streets, not particularly walkable, but great S-Bahn and streetcar connections right outside to get around easily (get a multi-day pass!). Hotel should create a smoking area that is not right in front of the main entrance, so one has to walk around people and through a wall of smoke. Odd choice. Nice lobby and bar, good staff. My floor had an odd issue with multiple electronic door locks not working all of a sudden, so I had to call security to get...

"When I'm in Berlin, I always stay at this wonderful Hilton on Gendarmenmarkt. The staff are responsive and helpful, our room had a gorgeous view, and the pool and sauna area are such a wonderful relief after a long day of sightseeing.
