It is well equipped for cooking (we made 2 dinners) and there a is great selection of food nearby at the Super U. It is especially quiet at night which we appreciated. "The house is NOT appropriate for winter rental letting. The main room's only heating system is the old fashionned fire place. The house is not insulated at all. There are gaps around the doors which we tried to block with our sleeping bags; there was no functionning heaters in any of the bedrooms. And ideally you can park your car inside the gates for safety, I found this very important as I was travelling by car from Ireland and I wanted the car safe. "High quality accommodation recently renovated to a very high standard. Very private and delightful garden space. Calm , quiet location. Everything was provided to ensure a memorable experience. The VRBo listing is slightly misleading as there is no internet connection at the property however this did not spoil our holiday as we had alternative provision with our home internet provider.
