"This house although not in the middle of a tourist centre is absolutely fabulous, bright and airy with plenty of space to enjoy the table football, mini snooker and we saw a table tennis table hiding in the garage waiting for outside weather I guess! The house was warm and Olivier was available to change temperatures remotely without needing to disturb us..... The kitchen is very well equipped and had we been there in the summer we would have enjoyed the pool too! The house was spotlessly clean...

"Amazing gîte, everything you need for a relaxing and stress free holiday. Super peaceful location and the pool is an especially welcome escape from the heat. Despite being attached to the owners residence we barely knew they were there! Overall, one of the best equipped properties we have stayed in, well thought out, comfy beds, great hosts and super location and views We had one of our best family holidays at Gîte Hauteloup!"

"This place is lovely has all you need on site clean and thought out well, very peaceful away from the crowd but only a couple of miles from nice villages. Fishing was ok but the lilies really needs to be cleared. It is ideal for a couples, would definitely return. We had our dog with us he loved it and we felt very safe. "We had a lovely weeks stay with 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 7-16) The house is well equipped and owners were friendly and helpful. It did help that my husbands mum and step dad speak fluently french as we may have struggled a bit otherwise with instructions regarding the spa and other bits. The pool was great and the house had plenty of room for the 12 of us. I think if anymore were staying you would need to be prepared to stay on the sofas that change into beds in common areas. "We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "
