"Fine hotel near Venice Beach, so easily walkable. Downside - the price was high for what the area offers. Our room faced the ocean with a balcony, which was lovely. Parking was (pricey) valet. Staff was helpful but slow with check in. (Possibly because of victims from the LA fires who appeared to be living at the hotel - so just an overworked staff doing their best.) Excellent pizza place in the hotel building. Small bar in the lobby which was also where the included breakfast was provided....
