Drive up & park 6 ft from this clean, equipped houseboat in Cypress Cove Marina

Houseboat located on a private road in Cypress Cove Marina. Drive up to private parking for 6 vehicles and walk just steps to the front door to unload your bags and tackle. The living area has plenty of room to hang out and talk about your catch with Sat TV, internet and cell booster. The kitchen has a full refrigerator, microwave, gas oven/range, coffee pot and everything you need to cook your fresh catch. We have 2 bedrooms, one with queen/queen bunks and the other with two sets of twin/twin bunks. The bathroom has a full shower. The covered back deck has a 3 compartment stainless sink, cleaning station, grill, fan, porch swing, mini-fridge and extra seating. We have plenty of boat parking along the side and back porch of the houseboat as well.

Ice machine and washer/dryer included for your convenience.

If you plan on going offshore, we would love to recommend charter companies, just ask!

Excellent Property
Property has everything you need to enjoy a fishing trip in Venice! Plenty of beds that are comfortable, fully stocked kitchen, outdoor cleaning station with grill, and icemaker. We had a wonderful time. Excellent communication with property owners with minor questions, and also with advice on where to fish in the area. Definitely recommend!

We only stayed one night there is a major problem with the main ac when you turn it on it fills the house with a raw sewage smell so strong we had to open the door and windows to air out the place so we turned off the ac and tried to sleep in the heat so we left the next day we could not stay another night in those conditions

Liked the place very much. However there was confusion over the cleaning fee. I blame expedia/VRBO for this, not the owner. I would rent in the future, but not through expedia. If this place was on VRBO I would rent.

Awesome place!
Great houseboat in a really nice location at Cypress Cove Marina with pretty views of Cypress trees across the canal. Comfortable beds, good kitchen and everything you need for a stay in Venice. Good, convenient boat parking on the back dock and you can pull your vehicle right to the front door of the house to unload gear. Host Chris was very accommodating and helpful during our stay, and went out of his way to mail something we left behind. Definitely recommend!

Very Nice!
The inside was clean but the outside dock area was covered with spiders, webs, and bugs. I did clear that away as soon as we got there. There are boathouses on both sides which the picture does not show. Overall we had a very nice stay! Fishing off the dock was good and seeing gators swim around was awesome. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful family houseboat
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! In comparison to the other cabins, things I liked about the trout house included the fenced in area on the back porch with a lower dock to access the water better, the nice fish cleaning station conveniently located on the back porch with a water hose and scrub brush there for an easy clean up. There were 2 slots empty to the right of us which made us feel more secluded. There were nice lights outside for night fishing, we were able to cast net shrimp and shad right off the back lower dock. We caught lots of fish right off the back porch! The walkways along the sides of the house were sturdy. Comfortable mattresses, plenty of cookware. Box/ Oscillating fans available to use. I had read previously about low water pressure in the shower, but I thought it was just fine better than expected. Pretty intense septic smell around the side walkway but it never bothered us on the porch. The house seemed really well insulated, cool when we needed it and held heat well when it got cold at night.

Great spot!
The Trout House was a great little quiet spot at the end of the cove. Perfect size for a friend and I on a fishing trip. Comfortable and it pretty much had everything we needed. Bunk lay out was pretty tight but worked fine for 2 of us. Would be really tight but doable with 4-6 people. Really liked the back deck! Also it was very windy while we were there and this house was solid and anchored well! Did not sway and bob around banging off pillings like some of the other boats.
