Perfect location
The apartment had everything we needed. It was in a lovely quiet location but really handy for the vaporetto and a short walk to the Rialto Bridge. We followed Brankica’s recommendation and ate nearby at the Osteria alla Frasca. We had a delicious meal in this lovely small restaurant. We would definitely return.

Great and must stay in Venice.
We loved this apartment, it is close to the popular parts of town but removed enough so that is quiet and relaxing. Check in and out was smooth and communication was excellent. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to stay in Venice.

After traveling staying in a place like home was a nice peaceful change. The owner was EXTREMELY HELPFUL in giving directions to these two 60 plus travelers to locate the place. Very well located to get to anywhere you need all the while away from the "tourist" area for peace and quiet.

Vacation in Venice
Really enjoyed my stay. The apartment had all the amenities and was comfortable. It was close to transportation and not a far walk to major attractions, but it was far enough away so it was quiet. If I find myself back in Venice I would definitely stay again and I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Venice.

Cozy and very quiet area in walking distance to historic sites and good dining. I visited for the Biennale and was easily able to walk to and from the Giardini each day. The area right around the apartment is not crowded with tourists at all, making it a very nice place to come back to after a busy day out!

We felt so cozy and comfortable in this apartment. The host gave us great advice to purchase a vaporetto pass for the week.. best decision! We saw so much while in Venice! Great location very close to grocery store and vaporetto.

Purple
This apartment was so well stocked with kitchen ware! I loved the many purple utensils and the cow print refrigerator!! The location was also perfect! I even loved taking the garbage out to the trash collectors, they were SO nice! We also appreciated the host turning on the AC for us. It was warm, and we could not open the windows because of mosquitos. We would have preferred opening the windows to sleep, but you can't avoid nature!

Nice apartment in a great location. About a :15 min walk to most sights, or :05 min to the nearest vaporetto dock. It was clean and comfortable and Brankica was a great host. You do need to be judicious about opening the windows at night as there are some pesky mosquitoes. Overall very nice.

Honeymoon hit
The hosts were incredibly gracious- as soon as they knew when and how we were arriving they sent very detailed directions on how to get to the apartment. The greeting and introduction were great! The apartment was exactly as pictured online!! Perfect for my new husband and I as we navigated the streets and canals of Venice. We would absolutely stay here again!

A Wonderful staying place!
Me. Brankica,she is a wonderful host and very care of visitors. We got to find her house very easily because she came to find us in the middle of corner street.Her house actually very nicer than picture like super clean and very convenience location!!!it’s awesome! She provides some foods and enough to cook wear for cooking. So we made a nice dinner as well only one thing, the shower system water temperature is very sensitive working so it’s caution of hot water and a little bit weak water power with shower head. But it’s definitely we would stay there again when we go back!

I spent 3 nights at the property and it was nice and peaceful. The apartment is located in an area that is mostly inhabited by locals. It's close to the vaporetto which makes getting there and back very easy. The only issue I had was when I arrived, the person I was to meet was not there, nor was anyone else. I messaged her by text and email and eventually got a reply that she would send someone. After another 25 minutes someone arrived to let me in (45 minutes after my scheduled arrival). However it became clear something was not right and I was eventually told that the apartment needed to be cleaned and I could come back in an hour. That is not what I wanted to do at that point... after 2 train rides totalling over 6 hours...I was tired and wanted to relax. Not knowing if I'd ever be able to settle in, I left to find something to eat and returned 45 minutes later and found her still there cleaning, but she let me in and left...the smell of floor cleaner in the air. Other than this, it was a good experience but I'm not sure why the apartment wasn't ready for me as I had booked it months in advance. Hopefully mine was an isolated incident... communication was generally very good otherwise

Great loft to live like a local
The loft apartment was as described. It was clean, the bed comfortable, and pillows were good. The place is very quiet! The kettle was appreciated for morning coffee. There was a notebook with wifi info, and a page of info on trash & recycling. Very particular instructions. We recycle as well, but there were many instructions. We took trash out and put in bins daily, but did leave some in receptacle the day we left. Hopefully we did it right! We tried to leave it clean, except for dirty towels. There was a washer, but it was all in Italian, and i had no idea which buttons to push, otherwise we might have washed all the towels. Maybe a tip for host, to leave instructions for washer in english, also contact or emergency information, or phone number in that book. The host gave us a map, but it was difficult to find. Thank goodness she was watching for us, and yelled out a window. The number above the door of the building where we entered was faded and not readable. It needs repainted. There are also many narrow steep stairs, so you need to be able to carry your luggage up. Overall this was a wonderful location and place to stay. We stayed 6 nights and walked everywhere. Thank you Branika! We enjoyed our stay!

A/C issues
I hate to have to write a negative review, but I feel it’s my responsibility to make people aware of what they’re getting themselves into. The owner was very friendly and communication was fairly easy. There was a slight hiccup at check in where I was told I could come early, but the cleaning lady wasn’t there to let me in. Not a big deal. When I checked in, I noticed that the apartment was very hot and the A/C wasn’t working. After messaging the owner, I was told that it had just broken and would be getting fixed after my stay and that I should just leave the windows open. Because of this, it never got very cool in the apartment. Also, tons of mosquitoes came into the apartment because there are no screens on the windows. I woke up after the first night covered in mosquito bites, and it was hard to fall asleep from all the buzzing. I don’t feel it’s fair for the owner to put on the listing that the apartment has A/C when none is provided. Had I known about this, it would have been a dealbreaker. There wasn’t even a fan to help with circulation. The apartment also wasn’t the cleanest. There was some sort of food inside the coffeemaker, hair in the bathroom, and just a general layer of dust and grime all over. On a positive note, the apartment is nicely decorated and in a great area. I enjoyed coming back to the peace and quiet of Cannaregio after the crowds in the rest of the city. Unfortunately, due to the other issues I can’t recommend this place.

Gem of an apartment in Venice!
This spotlessly clean, fully equipped, 3-story walkup apartment in a classic, old Venetian building is exactly how the photos depict it. The apartment is a few minutes walk to a great supermarket selling delicious meats, cheeses, wines, breads, paper goods, you name it; produce stand with super fresh fruits and veggies; the fantastic Osteria Alla Frasca restaurant (reservations required); and the Fondamente Nove water boat, taxi and ferry station where there is a great place for after dinner drinks/snacks. At the restaurant on the water you will be seranaded by a local accordian player! The safe neighborhood is exclusively residential and quiet (children playing but early to bed!). If you want to get into the touristy parts, no problem to walk via the many canal bridges. We cooked in 2 nights out of the 5 nights we stayed there (we were tired after touring all day) and had everything we needed to make quite good meals. The owner, Brankica, was extremely attentive to our needs, helped with negotiating travel, and responded quickly to our questions via Whats App. There was an issue with the AC. She accompanied the technician to fix it. We were comfortable with the temperature ( donot expect sub zero temps like your home or hotel in the states) and in the evening we opened the kitchen and rear windows a bit for a wonderful breeze. The only early morning sounds you will hear will be the seagulls and early morning boatmen traveling the canals. Highly recommend this apt!

Absolutely Amazing
As the title says, this was an absolutely amazing place to stay in Venice! Yes, as the previous reviewer said, you should be aware that this is a 3rd floor apartment and the stairway at the top is VERY narrow, but once you enter the apartment, you'll be amazed! It's a small apartment, but it's put together in a way that makes it feel spacious and comfortable. It's very clean, the bed is comfortable, and you have most of the amenities you'll need for your stay in Venice. Having Internet was a plus and it worked perfectly for us throughout our stay. The Moka pot was a nice touch as well. The location is a little out of the way, but that's what makes it so perfect! It's away from the crowds, it's quiet, but it's close enough that many of the major sites (Rialto Bridge, Piazza San Marco) are only a 20 minute walk away. You're in among the locals, not the noisy tourists. When you need food, the InCoop market is only 5 minutes away, and the Vaporetto is less than 10. Be sure to visit Mario! He runs a little antique store on Calle De La Madonna, on the left as you're heading West out of Campo De La Madonna towards the bridge (on your way to InCoop). He doesn't speak English but he has good prices on Murano glass (if he has any), copper, beads, etc. While you're in Venice, do the standard sites, but BE SURE take time to get lost too. Just start walking & see where the alleys take you! Head over to Fondamenta de le Capuzzine for great chicceti and small crowds, then wander over through the Ghetto which could eventually take you to Str. Nuova for lively nightlife and shopping. Just get lost, it's great!

Very nice apartment
We enjoyed our stay in Venice at this cute apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay and was close to cafe's, shops and the vaporetto. Highly recommend!
