Magnifique penthouse avec une vue magnifique!

Very beautiful flat (restored, spacious, bright, quiet and with a great view over a large canal and my garden) and located in a wonderful neighborhood where you will be able to enjoy the unique Venetian lifestyle. Indeed this area of the city center is still untouched by the tourism (but the highlights of the city are just a few minutes away) and here you can find (within 2-5 minutes of walk) a lot of art and history together with the best and cheapest bars and restaurants of Venice (together with a very convenient supermarket just 2 minutes away).
Right outside the door, there is a peaceful private courtyard by the canal where it is absolutely wonderful to stay with a chair and watch the water and boats passing by.
It's just a second floor, therefore there are not many steps!

Lovely apartment
Lovely large apartment on a quiet street. The only criticism would be the bed could have been more comfortable and the apartment does not have an iron and the kitchen is quite bare. Communication with the host was quick and easy, my wife and I would stay again.

Very helpful host
I love staying in this part of Venice. It’s off the beaten path, but you can easily get to all of the things Venice has to offer, and there are some great restaurants and bars one street away. The host was very helpful, and offered us some good sightseeing options.

Quiet corner with amazing view
This was our favourite place out of our 4 stays in Italy. We were greeted upon entry and given a little tour of the property and our unit. The unit is very spacious, wide hallways, very large washroom with a jet tub and two sinks. Large open kitchen and living area with a beautiful view of the canal from all windows! Two large rooms as well as a third sleeping area upstairs. There was a private access to the canal as well. The area was very quiet but close to the main areas.

A short visit to Venice.
The property is spacious. There a very few amenities in the kitchen. There isn’t a decent coffee maker or even a toaster. The offering says it’s a short walk up a few stairs. There are 47 steps up to the penthouse. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Had made arrangements to quickly store luggage of everyone traveling in the group (not everyone stayed at this place) Was read the riot act by the housekeeper and check in was incredibly difficult with multiple phone calls and uncessary warnings etc Delay cost us 100 euros from booked activities as it took too long just to store luggage It was not particularly cozy nor clean and lacked basic essentials like towels and sheets I wouldnt stay here again

Fantastic location and views
We were 3 friends travelling together. There were only 2 rooms, the third person had to sleep on the fold-out lounge, so there was nowhere to sit except at the table. There was an upstairs loft, but no air conditioning up there, so too hot. The apartment would have been fabulous for 2, or perhaps 2 couples, though there is only one bathroom. There was no tea towels, bath mats, dishwashing liquid or cleaning products. There is a supermarket very close by and getting to the main attractions was easy by water bus, quite clos by near the Guglii bridge. Just was great with his communication.

Miscommunication with check in led to starting off on the wrong foot
We booked our trip while we were traveling and had some missed communications. The owner asked when we would be arriving into Venice and told us it was not like a hotel check in so someone would have to meet us. I think it would have been better communicated by telling us to be AT the property by a specific time. We had been traveling all day and being diabetic I needed to eat something on the way as I hadn’t eaten all day. I wasn’t really paying attention to my phone and when I did I saw messages saying if we weren’t at the rental in the next 20 minutes they wouldn’t allow us to check in. I left immediately, leaving my husband and luggage behind to get there as quickly as possible to meet with the housekeeper who was waiting for me. Upon arrival she requested the money for the tourist tax, which I previously had but accidentally got spent on bus far earlier that day. She barely understood any English and I was trying to see if I could pay it another way. She contacted the host on her cell and then gave me the phone to speak with him. He was very upset and belittling, despite my profuse apologies for the misunderstanding. He told me it was a huge inconvenience that he had to deal with this on a Sunday. It started off our trip on a bad foot to say the least. If he didn’t want to host us, he shouldn’t have accepted our reservation and we could have found something else. That being said the apartment itself was fairly comfortable. The bathroom didn’t smell great.

Venice around real Venetians
Cannaregio is a hidden gem. it still has a vibe of a local community. location of the apartment is fantastic if you want to avoid hordes of tourists, enjoy a more realistic view of the most amazing city of Venice. views from the living room are spectacular. local bars and restaurants are exactly what you would want to check out.. 2 large bedrooms and a very very large bathroom can accommodate comfortably. i would stay there again and Massimo is a great host

Lovely Place
My mother, brother and I went to Venice for my mother's 70th birthday and we had an incredible time. The apartment was giant and super comfortable. The location was quiet and ideal. The coffee shops and restaurants in the area were much less touristy and the nearby Vaporetto was perfect to get around

Stunning Flat!
Such a lovely place! Everything was very nice and after 2 weeks of traveling together, we really appreciated the spaciousness of the place. It was super quiet and the owner was a great source of information. The jetted tub is HIGE and was a real treat. The only slightly downside was the steps, lots of steps, but then again, it's a penthouse!

Great penthouse flat in a great neighborhood
The flat was very clean and spacious, good A/C with big kitchen and big living area. Location of the flat is great as well, may seem like it is off in the north east corner of the city, but the neighborhood is lively with bars and restaurants that are open late for good night life. The owner/manager was also very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here and will be staying here again when I come back to Venice.

Beautiful
The apartment is spacious and comfortable. It’s very far from the main area of Venice about a 25 minute walk but the neighborhood is lovely. The only negatives were rhe king bed is just two twins beds together in a frame and not very comfortable and the toilet seat was broken. Expect to go to a local market for paper goods etc but it is very close and easily accessible.

We had a wonderful stay! This apartment was huge! Massimo was very attentive in communicating and offered up some information on Venice, local grocery, very precise directions from the train station to the apartment. We appreciated that as we were walking with decent sized suitcases. Would definitely recommend!

A big and enjoyable surprise
Our road to the rental property is a hard and time-consuming one from Venic train station, but the actual stay there is a big surprise. After the train arrived at Venice, we used Google Map to locate the address provided, and it took us about two hours and we still failed to find the place. Finally, we told the host where we were and the host personally came to pick us up. The actual time needed to reach the rental place is only about 15 minutes from the Venice train station. We assume that the problem is caused by the lack of street name (we found out that the house number is correct and there is indeed no street name for the house). The whole building is owned by the host, and there are several units. The unit we were assigned doesn't look like the one shown in Vrbo website pictures, but it is a huge unit with several rooms, and it is really easy to reach all major sites from the rental place once you followed the host's two wooden bridge guidelines to leave from and come back to the rental place. Venice roads are convoluted, and you should get ready to get lost.

Great apartment in great location
The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location and view. Close to shops, restaurants and train station. Massimo was very helpful, gave great directions and great restaurant suggestions. He also let us drop off our bags early so we could explore Venice, which was great since we only had one day there. Highly recommend.
