"Il Nido offers wonderful views in a very private setting. It is a 12 minute drive to Fivizzano so you’ll want to plan your groceries for the stay. There are hiking trails accessible right at the entrance gate. The host is very accommodating. If want a peaceful and relaxing stay this is a great choice."

"Accurate listing. Ever-changing panorama of the Apuan Alps. Continuous cool air flow down from the mountain. Lovely view of the castle. Comfortable bed and spacious bedroom. Screens on windows and doors. Spacious outdoor deck (no living room, but that did not matter since we relaxed outside). Ate all our meals outdoors. We cooked all our meals the entire week. "We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Collemandina. The property was in excellent condition and Leonardo was very helpful with the check in process and also when we didn't have any hot water. The location is very picturesque and quiet. The only downside is that it is a little isolated. There is a restaurant near the property but it is probably a 20 minute walk up steep roads. We were very reliant on using the car to get everywhere when ideally there would be some amenities a little bit closer."

We booked the "Cook at home" experience and I have to say it was one of the best meals we have ever had.
