Top Ventura County Fairgrounds Hotel Reviews
Amanzi Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection
10/10 Excellent
"My 2-day stay at the Amanzi was outstanding. My room was really spacious and included a couch, a comfortable chair and a desk. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The staff is so friendly in particular the front desk staff (especially the young Hispanic guy named Alex I think).
The breakfast buffet is top notch. The young Hispanic guy overseeing the buffet is so gregarious and makes you feel like you are a guest in a home going way above and beyond what anyone would expect.
Keep up the outstanding service. I always leave already thinking about my next stay."
"Great stay! I like you can park right in front of your room, good for easy unloading and loading. Owner is nice and helpful. Good location for Channel Islands visit, close to beaches, Ventura Pier and downtown Ventura. Definitely would stay here again! "
"Geneva and Leo were awesome and always ready to help us with anything we needed or asked about. We've been here 3 times and will be back. So many restaurants and breweries are so close most of it walking distance."
"The lady at check out does have a chip on her shoulder. She did give me a room that had a working tv due to the one I was assigned not working. The room was very old and tattered offering the bare minimum. I didn’t spend very much time in the room due to it being depressing. Went out and explored what Ventura had to offer on a Monday, came back and slept for the night, on top of my sleeping bag. Heard the bed bugs were bad. If you want a budget place to sleep near downtown it could be good. But if you’re planning on a place to decompress, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. "
Appreciate delicious seafood, sandy beaches, whale watching and charming friendliness in this waterfront area with access to Channel Islands National Park.
