"Very nice small hotel about 12 minutes away from Biel. Recommended. Free parking and reasonable price. Note their restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but there is a very nice restaurant 2 minutes away called Bahnhof but closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays!"
"Just what you expect. Clean, quiet, relaxing. The staff was very helpful. We had no issues with our stay. The cleaning staff did a great job at maintaining our room during our 6 night stay. "
"The staff is nice and helpful. The included breakfast was very good. My only complaint was the difficulty checking in at the front door. On Mondays the front desk was closed when we arrived. If I hadn't had a friend who spoke German and was able to obtain the code and assist me with entrance, it would have been very stressful."
"The La Couronne is in a great location in the middle of the main part of Solothurn, close to shops and local amenities (unfortunately, most of which are closed due to Covid). Car parking is at an off-site local car park just a few minutes walk from the hotel but is expensive. We paid over CHF 43 for around 36 hours.
The hotel reception communal areas and restaurant are clean and the decor is well kept (the restaurant is only open during the morning for guest breakfasts due to Covid).

"Due to the holiday season, reception closed at 15:00 hours, so check in was thru an envelope. Rooms are very spacious, bed and showers are good, but it is an ancient structure and building, so don’t expect modern rooms or furniture. Staff when available was very helpful. Great to walk around the area. "
"perfectly nice old hotel, in great location. But there was no working elevator. Carrying a heavy suitcase up 42 stairs was difficult for an old woman"
"Well appointed hotel. Extremely friendly and professional staff. The room was super clean. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant was awesome! Right in the heart of Herzogenbuchsee"

"The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The front desk was super helpful…. The breakfast was great. The one negative was the shower stall. I do expect to take a show without hurting myself. The stall was simply too small, I can’t turn around without turn off or turning the water too hot. It was smaller than the ones on cruise ships. Worst of all, the shower was very slippery and I almost fell. I heard the same complaint from our friends. This has to be addressed.
Overall it was a very nice hotel and it would be excellent if they fix e shower issue.

"Great flexibility for eating in or eating out, good location on quieter street but easy to walk to everything, transport links, grocery stores close by to stock up the fridge, nice walls by the river. Linen and towels clean and fresh. Kitchen reasonably stocked. Found kettle in cupboard which is essential for us brits. Only downside is we couldn't adjust the air con below 22 degrees which was a little too warm at night but not the end of the world. Would definitely stay again if we go back to Basel."
A verified traveller stayed at Aparthotel Adagio Basel City
"I was allocated a room on the 11th floor so the view from My bedroom window of the city was amazing, even at night as all the street lights came on.
The location of the Hotel was ideal for Me as it meant I was able to walk to the Basel football shopping centre in 15 minutes and to the Rhine river and hills which surround the city. It was also only 20 minutes walk from the main station although there was also a tram stop 2 minutes walk away which linked the location to the centre and of course was free as is all public transport during the duration of any stay. "
"The staff were outstanding to accommodate our need of connecting tooms with our kids. Also provided a lot of info for surrounding area and free metro card. "
