"The cabin is larger than I expected; it is essentially a small house, and proved supremely comfortable. Vermont gets *cold* in the winter, but we always felt cozy inside. The decor, while simple, is tasteful and evokes a Longfellowian image of a comfortable country retreat. Shower and bath is *hot* and revitalizing.
We hiked up the Appalachian trail and supplied our necessities at the Country Store, both within easy walking distance. Difficult hike in snowy and icy conditions, but well worth it...

"Some friends asked me to take them to try hunting so I was looking for the perfect place for a couples long weekend near our property in Bloomfield. The victory cabin hit the ball out of the park! We got some amazing views of Snow and mountains, spent lots of time relaxing in the spa and exploring the hiking trails on the property, and made some great meals in the large kitchen. Hope to make it back again soon to play in Snow some more :)"

"This trip was just as wonderful as the first. Spent our second Thanksgiving in this beautiful and private setting. It snowed 13 inches on TG day and it was so gorgeous! Sitting in the hot tub with the snow falling was really perfect. Everything was provided and check in and checkout were easy. Located close to Manchester, we had fun trying out hand at glass blowing at Hot Glass..too fun! Would recommend this place to all."

"The cabin and location were both perfect for our family of four (wife and two kids - 9 and 7). It's a nice location; close enough to Rutland, Killington, Woodstock and Quechee State Park. It has a real nice, isolated feel, in the hills of Vermont all while being 8 minutes from Singleton's General store which has everything you could need. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place!"

"Staff working the front desk couldn't have been more welcoming, kind and helpful. Room was very reasonably priced, beautifully updated, very comfortable, great airflow from the HVAC unit, and exceptionally clean! Love being able to park right outside my door too. Conveniently located down the street from some yummy restaurants and cute shops. Align Inn serves a complimentary breakfast (generously until 10am on wkdays when most hotels I've
been to stop serving by 9am) which I unfortunately missed as I chose to sleep in on the cozy bed instead :) On the outside, this may look like a standard motel, but the owners who purchased this former Quality Inn really did a nice job renovating the rooms to a very comfortable level - def a hidden gem! The shower was the only part of the room not updated, but no complaints as it was well-maintained and very clean. I visit friends in VT often & look forward to staying here again!"
