The house is well laid out, beautifully decorated, and the bedrooms are very comfortable and spotless with all new sheets/towels/robes. Hot tub was great to enjoy in the evening, so was the wood stove with ample firewood, ping pong, bikes, and a fenced yard for the pups. We had an incredible time and highly recommend. Five stars!"

The bedrooms are all beautiful, and the bathrooms immaculate. The living accommodation has been thoughtfully planned out to be versatile for any combination of events and people. We used the outside table for several al fresco dinners of 20, and we used the inside tables at both properties for meals also seating...

It was great having the outdoor cooking area which had a fridge and dishwasher. There isn’t anything in the village but activities are close by so it’s not a problem. I would recommend for large groups."

"We were informed that we could not arrive before 4pm on Saturday as the property would be cleaned and prepared before this time. On arrival it was obvious that this was not the case. The entrance gate had rubbish bins overflowing with trash in 40 degrees heat. The front garden was overgrown with weeds. The back garden was full of stinging nettles and the lawn overgrown. On Sunday morning the owner arrived and mowed the lawn and cut the nettles back at 9am. The hot tub had flooded the room...

The location is rural yet only 1.5hrs from Dijon and the Burgundy wine region is on the doorstep. The hot tub and sauna are a wonderful way to relax overlooking the river. The host was helpful."

"We had a wonderful stay at the 17th century mansion. It is obvious that a lot of love and time has been spent on the renovation. The house had numerous rooms for relaxing and a very large, well equipped kitchen. Some rooms were harder to heat, but most were very comfortable. There was a little mix up prior to check in regarding a security deposit needed at time of arrival, but we reached an agreement. The house was very convenient and there was parking very near by."

"This was just perfect for a much needed break. A warm welcome and a well equipped house. Spent most of the time sitting in the back garden admiring the view! Only one very slight comment about the wi-fi; signal is almost non-existent so even surfing is very slow, perfect if you are not in a hurry:) And yes, the bread machine allowed us to meet other people from this and surrounding villages at 8am, don't delay as it goes very fast!"

"This hotel is very well located, just off the motorway for those driving through France, but set amongst fields so very quiet and safe. The rooms are very clean, there is lots of parking and although I could not have dinner there as we arrived too late, I have heard from family that the food is great. I can vouch for the tasty breakfast however. Will definitely visit again !"

Best property we have ever rented

"This rental property is a huge cut above anything we have ever stayed in...and that goes back many years. The properties have been restored to a very high standard, with taste and grace. The bedrooms are all beautiful, and the bathrooms immaculate. The living accommodation has been thoughtfully planned out to be versatile for any combination of events and people. We used the outside table for several al fresco dinners of 20, and we used the inside tables at both properties for meals also seating 20. There is plenty of tableware, and the kitchen equipment enabled us to cook high quality meals. We used the barbecues multiple times, the hot tub was a real treat, and the bikes got lots of use! The grounds are enclosed, so our dog happily roamed free, he had a great time too! Our host Nathalie was very helpful but happy to leave us as independent, which was perfect. All of us enjoyed staying here immensely, and we will definitely book again. Parfait"
