"The home was neat and clean. The snacks were a warm welcome. Pet friendly. One rule is that the pet has to be in a cage if left alone in the home. It would have been nice to know this before hand though it did not pose a problem for us. The view is great. We noticed there were blinds on all windows except the back doors. Great location on a quiet street...you can walk to many restaurants, shops, and historic sites. Also, there is dedicated off-street parking which is always nice. We would not hesitate to stay again. "Tea on the porch looking over the river at sunrise - the mist rising. Perfect. Close enough to main street and restaurants to find something to eat in 10 minutes but away from downtown foot traffic during the day. There is a saloon across the street that gets busy late at night but didn't bother us. Nice little kitchen. Loved it. Clean and friendly!"

"The view from the front deck is amazing! Watch the river go by! 4 bedrooms and everyone said the beds were comfortable. The house is bright with lots of sunlight coming in. The house shows it's age a bit and could use some new carpeting. We chose this property for the 4 bedrooms. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough seating in the living room for everyone unless you used the uncomfortable, "dining room" like chairs. "The home was fabulously clean, relaxing, and perfect for our small family. The location is not ideal as it is located between the Comfort Inn and a vehicle repair shop and is on the corner of two very busy/noisy roads. The front yard is literally the driveway between the two so smaller kids would not be able to go from the car to the house without an adult. However, the backyard was very private and the hot tub was the key to a wonderfully relaxing weekend. "

"Beautiful property and very responsive owners. We did have an issue with the wifi (no real cell service so needed wifi in case of emergencies) but our hosts took care of it as promptly as possible. Beds and pillows were really hard so I spent a night on the couch and the outside could use better lighting. Its on a timer so you have no control of front porch light. So once its out... its very dark. Which was a little disappointing because I like to get up really early and read my Bible on the...

"My sister, her two daughters and myself met in Madison for a girls weekend. The location of this property was perfect for us because it was close to downtown restaurants and shopping. We love the property, had everything we needed. Beds are super comfortable and the backyard. Was a great space for us to hang out in the evening."

"4 of us were coming to Madison area to celebrate our 50 year homecoming. The house allowed us to have more direct contact with each other than staying in a hotel and we enjoyed having a full kitchen and gathering space in the living areas. One bedrooms is very, very small with only a single bed in it and no other furniture. Might be OK for a child but renters need to be aware that there are only 3 full bedrooms in the house with one space to sleep an extra person."
