"Exquisitely clean hotel in the center of Montpellier. Staff was friendly and helpful, spoke French and English. They even found some clothing I left behind and called when it was found. Free parking in the hotel lot. Tricky location to find because of Montpellier’s many one-way and circuitous streets. Some street noise from college students on a weekend night, but the hotel itself was very quiet. An excellent stay."

"We would never stay in this hotel again. The arpets in the room are so old that the room smelled bad, and walking on them left dirt on my socks. This was an Accessable room, so ther was no rim around the shower to keep all the water from flooding the bathroom because the drain was flush with the floor. We had to mop it up ourselves in order to use the toilet without having our feet slosh through an inch of water. The young man at the front desk was friendly and polite, but he said,...

"The hotel is in good condition and the location is great. A free parking can be found nearby. The only issue is that we got attacked by mosquitos all night long... Although we managed to kill 5 or 6 of them, they kept arriving so I suspect there was a way for them to come into the room, probably by the bathroom. From the many squashed bugs seen on the wall, it must be a recurring problem there."

"Food: good but expensive. Room: shockingly small although very clean. The worst aspect of the room was that there was no A/C which we would have expected for the price of the room. The area was noisy (loud music which we were not sure whether it was coming from the hotel or elsewhere) and the hotel is on a main road so our sleep was disturbed if we kept the balcony door open. In the end we decided to close it to have some peace but we were sweltering. I tried to call reception to ask about...

"Very nice little hotel. Great breakfast. Fantastic location. Our only issue was that or TV didn't connect to the internet (first world problems). If we were staying longer we would have asked them to fix it. Not a big deal. "
