  • The Church of Santa Lucia, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, is located on the hill of the same name in the city of Viana do Castelo. The church was built on the site of a small medieval chapel, known as a pilgrimage site for people with eye diseases. The construction of the temple lasted from 1904 to 1959. The eclectic-style Miguel Ventura Terra project combines neo-romanticism, neo-Gothic and Byzantine architecture. It is generally accepted that the architect was inspired by the forms of the Sacre Coeur Basilica in Paris. To the foot of the church at a height of 195 meters above sea level there is a line of a funicular built in 1923. Tourists can take the elevator to the observation deck under the very dome of the church. A panoramic view of the Lima River valley, mountains and the Atlantic Ocean opens from the platform. In 1927, National Geographic magazine named this species the third most beautiful in the world.

Very good house, nice place. Only Nature and you. We were there 2 weeks with 2 dogs and it was very good vacation. House is not far then in 10 aurominutes from city Viana de Castello with very famose church, 1 hours from Porto. Small shop is in 4 km from house. Sand beaches are in 3-5 autominutes from home. Thank you! Kindly recommended!

We (family of four & dog) enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect place to explore the beautiful area, inland (Ponte de Lima etc) or the coast and beaches, our favourite one was Praia do Cabedelo, only 10 min drive away. Paulo is a great host, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend Saborido House.

On y vient et avons envie d’y retourner.

Un accueil très sympa. Une très jolie petite maison de caractère 1avec une vue magnifique dans un petit village au calme. On recommande le lieu et envisageons d’y retourner. La région offre de nombreuses possibilités de balade sur le littoral, forêts, cascades, et parcours bien balisés. Viana do Castelo est une belle ville à découvrir et avons apprécié ce lieu et les festivités dans le cadre du 50eme anniversaire du 25 avril 1974. Particulièrement du 01 mai avec les danses folkloriques et le spectacle donné par la CGTP.

Séjour au calme dans une jolie petite maison.

Maison petite mais très bien équipée, avec jardin fermé, terrasses et garage très pratiques. Environnement calme et reposant, avec une jolie vue pour les repas en extérieur. L’accès aux plages est facile en voiture, à quelques kilomètres. Plusieurs centres commerciaux à quelques kilomètres également. Paulo et ses parents sont très accueillants et chaleureux. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Belle location ds un endroit tranquille avec une vue bien dégagée. Le seul problème c'est la literie

La literie n'est pas du tout actuelle et le matelas très très dur ce qui nous a beaucoup handicapé pendant le séjour.

Positiv: - Bad - Lage - Garten - Aussicht Negativ - schlecht gereinigt - Bett: alt, muffig, quitscht, Breite nur 140 cm, kein Duvet - Umzäunung: Zaun/Mauer hat eine Mindesthöhe von 65 cm. Nicht ausbruchsicher für einen Hund - Gartenmöbel: Polster durchnässt/unbrauchbar/grau - Stauraum/Schränke: kein Platz für pers. Gegenständen und dgl.. Alles befüllt mit Kram, Decken, Kissen und sonst Unnötiges - Küche: schlecht eingerichtet, sehr viele unnötige Gegenstände, dafür fehlen wichtige Utensilien wie: Gasanzünder, Abtrocknungstücher Backhandschuhe, Essstühle (nur Hocker vorhanden)
