"Very comfortable beds, clean. I have no complaints, poor wifi and breakfast was weak but we had no problem with it. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and nice balcony, very friendly helpful staff. There is a restaurant just beside the hotel,El Mirado, to the left if you have your back to the ocean which is worth checking out, have to walk up a hill, well worth the walk. Not a lot of stir, bring a book."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was modern, well equipped and near the beach. It had a nice ocean view and a short 5-10 minute walk to the beach. There is a gate and wooden steps to get down to the beach with a big step down from a gate at the other end. The beach location was great, right where you want to be in Vichayito.The owner/manager was very responsive and helpful. We paid extra to have Isabela cook for us breakfast and lunch. She is very knowledgeable on the house...

"We really enjoyed our stay at La Capitanna. The view is amazing and so was the food. We had their pizza and the breakfast was great (specifically the bread). Can't say enough good things about the hospitality as well everyone was so nice and we really loved the dogs. They went on a walk with us both days to keep us company. "

"The staff was amazing at this property - always attentive and able to answer questions and provide what we needed. The rooms and property were very clean and peaceful. Everything is exactly as pictured in the photos. We enjoyed a ceviche class one night and they set up a bonfire for us on the beach another night - both excellent and well thought-out.
