Unfortunate! The apartment could have been nice, but the upkeep was terrible. We had to pay extra for early check-in through the management company's website, which wasn't intuitive. When we arrived they had not communicated the early check in to the cleaning people. The cleaning people just acted irritated and likely rushed to finish. It was filthy when we were finally let in. Dust and hair on the floors, a very dirty shower. The couch cushions and just about anything fabric has water and other stains. The apartment was non-smoking but substantially smelled of smoke. Many appliances were broken including the coffee maker. The second morning the doorknob to the exterior door fell off as we left the apartment. The neighborhood is a bit rough too. We never felt fully safe walking the streets, and I would not go out alone at night. The posting says elegant, but it really is run down. It could be elegant with care and attention to the interior and fixtures, but instead there are so many signs of neglect.
