Very pleasant stay, room very spacious, clean & very well appointed. All amenities included that you would need. Breakfast was great with plenty of selection to order. Coffee was the best in the city! Roof top pool was wonderful after a long day out, with the poolside bar for a refreshing drink. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting Vientiane.

Great choice for Vientiane
We spent two nights at the Laos Poet at the end of a two week trip and were pleased with our choice. The staff were most attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was on the 4th floor and was very comfortable with a fabulous bathroom. The room was nicely furnished although it was quite dark. We enjoyed the rooftop pool area which has a fabulous view over the city and a cozy bar and restaurant. Laos Poet is very central and we walked to most of the city’s attractions.

The Lao Poet Hotel reception, restaurant and bar personnel are all highly professional. The receptionist especially provided us with useful and money-saving information. Great centre location, very quiet. Very helpful friendly staff, even before arrival we had superb service from Zack who went to great lengths to help us find s great driver to take us up to Luang Prabang. Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated in rich fabrics and colours.
