"Villa Florentine was fabulous!! The location is amazing, the views over Lyon are lovely and the location is perfect. We were greeted by very friendly staff with welcome drinks and pastries and then a 30 minute history lesson and chat with the manager Emmanuel. It really made us feel welcome and was wonderful. Our room was also upgraded which we appreciated. Staying at Villa Florentine was an experience we will remember and we would certainly go back and recommend this Relais et Chateau hotel. "

"Beautiful property in a quiet but convenient area. Lovely spacious rooms, which were impeccable. Real bonus to have the heated swimming pool in November. Staff were very gracious and accommodating. A few improvements to suggest: maybe some hotel and area information in the rooms would be good; the ‘international TV channels’ advertised aren’t accessible (not an issue for us, but some people may be expecting these); reorganisation of the breakfast area - it’s a stunning setting but quite chaotic...

"We liked Boscolo Hotel. It is a nice hotel and the room was nice. The location is good too. The staff are friendly and receptive at check in. But I wouldn’t say this is a five star hotel and we didn’t feel like we got exceptional service or anything.
