"I was staying at a hostel that didn’t have AC. I noticed this hotel as I was walking past it. I asked if they had rooms available and was told yes and the rates. "We arrived at the hotel early and attempted to check in, but the receptionist didn’t seem very willing to assist us. We chose this hotel mainly for the gym, which turned out to be very small and not well-maintained. "The staff was always cordial and helpful. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice and the shower was good even if it needed frequent adjustments at the beginning. The breakfast was great and varied. The location was great within the Savassi neighborhood and it allowed us to walk to many restaurants, bars and stores in the area. "
