"This hotel is a simple pension in one of the world's most beautiful locations. It is family run and the personnel were very friendly. We took half pension and the food was good and plentiful and mostly Italian. Our room was clean but very small and rather plain. Free wifi was available in the lobby area, but not in the room. "Zero communication from "host", zero. No answer to my text or call. No idea who it was that opened the door to let us in. She was friendly, but no English or German so not much communication. Very poorly laid out apt IMO. Kitchen so small the refrigerator is in the living room as a TV stand too. Also dishes and cutlery in living room. No spatula, tiny glasses. But the low point was the bed. Quite possibly the worst we've ever experienced. Then there was the bathroom. Beautiful full tub/shower...
