This is a fantastic hotel. Seems to be independent, non-chain and whomever is running it, as well as the wider facilities like the bar and restaurant is doing a great job.
We've stayed here several times as our kid is at USF and it's wayyyy better and same price or even less than the ghetto holes by campus.
Anyway, great hotel.
One point worth mentioning is Ybor is a gay area so if you're sensitive to that, may not be for you.
It's not Castro in SF, but...
