"The hosts are amazing. They greeted us at a local restaurant and we followed them up to their beautiful home. They are very proud of their family home that is over 300 years old. It was completely renovated and has everything you need. We loved our stay. The road up to the house is quite windy, but if you take your time, it is fine. Aside from that, I highly recommend this property."

We had everything we needed and we only went out once preferring to enjoy the extensive gardens and the burgeoning friendship with Pascal & Christa who could not have been better hosts. "If you’re expecting hotel chic, this property is not for you. If you love traditional Spanish with lots of of quirks then you will definitely love this place! Beautiful old building in a very central area just minutes from all the attractions. Lovely spacious rooftop terrace, and although it could do with some TLC, it’s perfect to relax with a drink at the end of the evening. Beware though, the spiral steps up to the terrace are not for the faint hearted and definitely not for children or anyone...

"We had such a relaxing few days at Villa Celeste, it’s really well equipped, spotlessly clean, with a great outdoor area and wonderful pool. It has gorgeous views at all time of the day and seeing the moon rise over the hills is just a fabulous thing. If you like a peaceful rural location to do your own subathing and cooking great local produce this is for you."

"This is a beautiful finca offering total peace and quiet with stunning views that stretch for miles across the valley... we loved it. The finca itself is really comfortably furnished and absolutely spotlessy clean. The kitchen is superb, and the lounge is a nice space to chill when the heat of the day is too much. The outside area is huge and the pool is large, warm, and clean (thanks Loli). The highlight has to sitting on the patio watching the sun disappear behind the mountains. What a place....

"Perfect retreat to unwind and just relax. The apartment has all you need for a comfortable stay and a lovely south facing terrace for sun lovers, with great views of the sea and mountains. Excellent pool with relaxing patio with sun loungers. To finish I would like to say Madeleine is an excellent host, nothing is too much trouble."

"Nos encontramos una casita pequeña super cuca y bien cuidada, aunque no entendimos que no hubiese ni horno ni microondas. La piscina muy limpia. El chico de la recepción de llaves y mantenimiento un auténtico encanto. El problema es que justo enfrente tiene una parcela un hombre que se dedica a desatender a su perro (lo deja suelto y se te cuela en casa) y a poner música hasta la madrugada muy alta. Sabemos que no es culpa de la dueña, pero mínimo debería cercarse la parcela para que no entren...

"Just spent a week at this apartment. All went very smoothly. The host, Cornelia is very friendly and fast with communications. The apartment is perfect and rustic. I don’t think that the photos do it justice, it is much better in ‘real life’. The terrace is perfect for relaxing on. The village is quiet and small, but not far from the motorways or the beach. A hire car is a must, but everywhere is within easy reach. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it. Thank you Cornelia!"

"Schönes. gepflegtes Anwesen in den Bergen mit einem perfekten Blick durchs Tal auf das Meer. Vom Besitzer liebevoll gestalteter Außenbereich mit Pool. der sogar ein Becken für kleine Kinder enthält. Es herrscht eine fantastische Ruhe und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Finca eignet sich hervorragend für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Der Stausee von Vinuela ist in drei Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und jederzeit zu erreichen. Spricht...

"We (Elderly parents + adult daughter) stayed at La Loma for 2 weeks in Sep 2024. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and we had a good time with fantastic weather. Good Points: 1. An attractive villa in a great setting; Stunning views and good walks (mostly on the roads). 2. Good hot water. 3. Traffic on the mountain roads always drove slowly (circa 30 KPH) and were always very friendly. 4. Good walking on the local roads and tracks. Less Good Points 1. NO WiFi !! 2. Swimming Pool looks bigger in...

"Overall very good, an extra room chair besides the couch would help make the room even better. Kitchenette was good and had all we needed. The coffee maker was a pod unit and should really come with at least a couple to get started and to know what to buy for more coffee. The room did have a small two cup espresso maker which we ended up using as we had some coffee. "
