"Get the river view even off season which we did. You can open your window and hear the soothing sounds. The room was well appointed, modern and clean. The on-site restaurant was pretty good too considering the front desk staff do double duty to cook as well. Service was top notch. Also the surrounding quiet and charming town has street vendors who setup shop for the locals but they spoken English too. "Great and friendly staff, i like that small town feel and breakfast was delicious. It was difficult with sleeping only because my friend didn’t want to sleep with window open for fear of bugs. But that’s nothing they could have done for that. Shower is small and you can hear the other door over when they are also showering. "There is no lift, the hotel checkin is one flight up a winding staircase. Our room was up another level with another winding staircase. The room was comfortable the decor is old world. The bathroom shower was in a tub that was not easy to climb into could be considered hazardous. It was nice to stay on the island and enjoy the peacefulness at night."
