"Villeneuve Loubet is a short train journey outside Nice, pleasant enough, not a ‘resort’ (which is good!) I wouldn’t have been so keen to stay here on my own as it’s a way out of town, but a great budget stay for the two of us! "

"Nice views and a pleasant evening atmosphere on the terrace. A bit dated in areas and I didn’t like the shower in a bath setup. Food was reasonable and a good price. Convenient location with free parking. Pool closes to early and opens to late fir anyone working, which is a shame. "

"Very very basic hotel. I would say it's more 3 or 3.5 star not 4 star. Room was nice but small and had basic amenities. A/C on the first night took a while to cool. Pool and roof top very nice but if you are by the pool it's so difficult to order as the staff pay no attention to that area. The reception staff gave me hardly any info when I checked in, I had to ask questions that he should have provided straight away. Food at the rooftop restaurant was just ok.
