"The friendly staff and the amazing value menu de jour means we have marked this place to come back to. Yes the bathroom was a little bit tired and the walls are thin so I could unfortunately hear someone in a neighbouring room playing candy crush until late, but the bed was comfy and the ambiance in the restaurant was great. The Menu du jour was incredibly good value, coming in at under €20 including wine, and our magret de canard was to die for with a large heap of sauted mange tout peas. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"We had an amazing time in Doucier. It's a wonderfully tranquil area, perfect for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation. The property was exactly as described; upon our arrival, everything was clean and just like in the pictures. The porch is a real plus, especially during the summer! On a less positive note, the beds are not the most comfortable, and if you plan on cooking, bring your kitchen utensils as there is only the bare minimum provided, which was a bit challenging for us as we love to cook."

"The hotel has historic elements mixed with the very modern and is extremely attractive. Our room was a little dated but was kept very clean and was much larger than average. The bathroom was spacious and had everything you need. The location is excellent - right in the centre of the village, and for wine lovers an easy walk to many producers for a tasting. By far the best thing about the property was Jesse (the receptionist), she was so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. "

"The hotel is quite isolated and there are no dining options around. It is advertised as having air conditioning, but I would not rely on that. Luckily it cooled down at night. Comparing to other hotels in the area, it was overpriced for what it offers."

"Stayed at this hotel as an overnight stop when travelling to Italy. Panicked when I saw check in closed at 9pm but as long as you have paid upfront you can check in on a computer there and are given a PIN code for your room. Room is what you expect, simple but clean. "
