"The property was perfect for our short 2-night stay to visit Zoo de Beauval and Chenonceau. The house was clean, well-appointed and comfy with plenty of games for the children. The only things lacking are WiFi and a washing machine but we knew this when we booked. After our days out we relaxed, dined and watched the sunset in the beautiful garden. Communication with Olivier and Emmanuelle was excellent too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily book again if we return to the area."

"This was a great base for a couple of nights to explore part of the Loire Valley..The little village about 3 km away - Chaumont-Sur-Loire - has several good restaurants, and other shops. The house was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, good sized rooms, and well equipped. The only thing lacking during the hot weather was a fan, so we decided to buy one at the supermarket, (which we have now also used at our next accommodation) Lino was very welcoming and we would happily stay again."

"The gite was handy for everything. Near to Chaumont, Amboise, Bloise. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and a supermarket for food and fuel. The house was lovely with everything we needed. Nathalie was very friendly and helpful."

"This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. We heard so many birds including owls and saw bats, and deer locally whilst visiting. The pool was a treat in the hot weather ( unheated for the strong hearted!) Situated in a lovely garden. Things that were relevant, are that you access only shower room and the toilet through other bedrooms or outside which may not always be...

"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

Great Hotel

"Great hotel to stay, 1 min walk from Gare de Blois-Chambord (its in front of you to the left - “1848 Restaurant- Beelodge” is the name of the place). Nice hotel, great complementary breakfast, rooms are nice and great! Friendly Staff! However, one very minor thing to note, in the rooms, there were no mugs (at least for me) and had only plastic cups, I would not pour hot water in those plastic cups (leeching BPA)…So unable to brew some tea or coffee in the room :( but was able to during breakfast."

We stayed in the family two-story suite, which was not only perfectly suited to our family of four but also an absolute delight. The spacious layout, thoughtful design, and playful charm made it an unforgettable part of our stay. The hotel’s thoughtfulness was truly exceptional. Prior to our arrival, we mentioned that it was our daughter’s 10th birthday. To our delight, they surprised her with a beautifully crafted chocolate dessert and a charming stuffed animal, creating a magical moment that touched our hearts.
