"No staff on the premises, check in requires a phone call to receive instructions how to retrieve keys from a box with keypad. I had no cell signal not internet access so couldn't call but fortunately the owner appeared and let me in. Internet was down the whole time I was there (only one night) which caused me problems as I had work to do. "We (Elderly parents + adult daughter) stayed at La Loma for 2 weeks in Sep 2024. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and we had a good time with fantastic weather. Good Points: 1. An attractive villa in a great setting; Stunning views and good walks (mostly on the roads). 2. Good hot water. 3. "We stayed here for 5 nights in November. This one bed villa is located 10 minutes away from Lake Vinuella up a windy dirt track road behind the village of Los Romanes. We met our lovely host Paul who showed us the way to the villa. We drove there in a mini convertible. The villa can be found high up on the hillside with fantastic views of the mountains and sea. "The villa is very well presented and clean. The outdoor seating around the house is very well thought. For us the location was what we wanted - away from it all yet close to local amenities.
