"Not certain what I can add, to the multitude of reviews already submitted. The great: - Excellent central location, walking distance to museums, restaurants, shops, etc. - The staff I dealt with were polite, helpful and friendly. The good: - The free breakfast had a good selection of food, and operated from 6:00-10:00 AM. The early start was helpful for guests going on early tours, or departing for the airport early, who could have breakfast before leaving. - The bathroom in my room had instant hot water, unlike many LATAM hotels and hostels which have lukewarm water at best, after running the water for 5 minutes. The Average: - the wifi was spotty. In my room, my iPhone had virtually no connectivity. My tablet was better. I sometimes had to go to the lobby to get strong enough wifi for some online activities. - Yes, the hotel is old. All the bathroom fixtures, light switches, etc., are old school, but in good repair. Just don’t expect a lot of modern conveniences. For example, my bathroom was very tiny, to the point where my knees would touch the opposite wall while I was sitting on the toilet The Poor: - My room was adjacent another establishment, so noise from next door was common, via the window, though generally tapered off around 11:00 PM. Also, the interior hard surfaces of the hotel (tile, hardwood doors, metal keyed locks) were conducive to noise transmission. I tried to be mindful of this when coming and going at quiet times, but many guests were not. "

"Beautiful hotel with character, and large and comfortable rooms. Easy walk to the centre, yet in a quiet area. But the key was the staff who were, without exception, utterly charming and helpful. A memorable stay in a great city. We loved it."

"The service from everyone at the hotel was impeccable - friendly and professional. Good location right on the main square. Hotel has maintained a good part of its colonial heritage. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The only negative is that the room was carpeted. Wooden floors would be a big improvement."

"No frills hotel with a pretty good value and good location. Breakfast was great, lots of options provided and served early enough in case you have an early excursion. Not sure if this is common with other hotels in Salta but the hotel key card have to be left behind with the hotel every time you leave, and they didn’t really check for our id when we came back to get our room key from a different staff, which is a bit of a security concern. Room was pretty clean, although the shower curtain had some mold on it, other than that I had a pretty good stay at this hotel."
