When we first arrived, there were two very upset customers that were holding up the line. It was right at checking (after 4 pm) and none of the rooms seemed to be available. Ours was barely ready. We had an ocean view 2 bedroom with large patio that we were not even able to access because of construction. Of course we were warned about construction AFTER reserving the room. I had no idea we wouldn't be able to USE the balcony!! The lights in my mom's room didn't even come on. There were just things that didn't work. We didn't bother letting the staff know since they seemed so overwhelmed already. We probably would not stay here again.

The check-in parking is narrow, but also had construction items around making it more difficult to maneuver. Check-in was fairly simple. However, the concierge never gave us our complimentary discount cards to local businesses until the 2nd night. It would have been helpful upon check-in. On the floors we visited, as we had family on a floor 11 floors away, there were distinctive smells of what seemed to be rotten fish lingering. It was in the halls and at the elevator. Mentioning family staying at the same hotel, we made reservations in late September/early October for the first weekend in December. We called as soon as the reservations were made and requested that all the rooms be put close together. This was NOT done and we were 11 floors away. The kids with us wanted to swim and had to walk to the neighboring property to do so as the pool at our location was 21 and up only. I get that completely. However, 21 and up also doesn’t mean they should be practically having sex in that pool for all to see. Then our kids were spoken to by an employee at the pool for jumping into the pool while other kids were doing it from a higher spot. Then another team came in to use the lobby for a meeting and wanted to say something to our kids for being loud. I was with our kids then and they were not loud. And we had no room checks the entire time. Very disappointed.

Our two bedroom suite had extremely noisy conditioning system.. on and off every 15 minutes . Like a truck engine was turned on and off in the room. Every morning, we woke up with terrible headache. This had never happened to us before when we stayed in Hilton. We are very frustrated.

i loved the view from the room, size and amenities in the room. What i didn’t care for was a non-smoking room that had been smoked in. While i place more blame on the smokers who can’t be considerate of others, the property should have known it was smoked in and at least given me the opportunity to opt for a different room before i got my keys.

The only problem i had was that i was promised a certain room bit when i got there it changed at the front desk.and i kept telling the young lady she was wrong but she wasnt trying to hear it.and then we find out she was saving the room for her friends ..

As soon as I arrived I was met with a smile. The Beach is a place of comfort for me and I loved having tons of space in my suite! I had to do some business and work but enjoyed my stay overall. I will DEFINITELY be booking again!
