Cozy cottage on the Chesapeake Bay

Quiet peaceful home by the Chesapeake Bay. Wooded area with Loblolly pines and oak trees. Beautiful walking areas. Bird watchers dream...Bald eagles, Osprey, bluebirds, martins, buntings, woodpeckers, swans, geese, ducks, and migratory birds. Incredible views of the Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Pianktank.

Wake up to the sun rising along the bay and relax watching the sunset on the bay. Can go fishing off the dock. A small grill is available for cooking near the picnic table. The area is full of mariner history back to Captain John Smith visiting Gywn's Island. The charming area still thrives from oysters and crab watermen. Water activities nearby. Be sure not to miss the local markets and seafood festivals

We had a great time staying at this property. The views were incredible. The area was wonderful. Not far from Gloucester. Several area beaches were nearby. The hosts provided a nice info packet for us. The place was clean and comfortable. Great place for a weekend getaway!

Great time at the Rivah!!
This is an adorable cottage with breathtaking river views. The fantastic dock was perfect for sunbathing and sunsets. The cottage is well appointed with nice touches like coffee fixings, good books to read and games. A memorable stay. Our host was responsive and super kind. Highly recommend!!
