This spacious single-story home features three master suites with two attached smaller rooms in the back of two of the three master suites; There is also plenty of room to relax and unwind inside and outside the home. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, and the dining room seats up to 8 guests plus 4 more in the breakfast nook.

Petting Zoo: We have a beautiful little petting zoo on the property that you and your family can enjoy during your stay; you're welcome to come over and visit them any time from outside their enclosures, or you can schedule a time with us to take you inside the enclosures and introduce you to all our furry babies; you'll be able to pet them, get pictures with them and give them treats.

* Speeding through the neighborhood is not allowed.
* All noise audible from outside must end by 9 p.m.
(this doesn't mean you have to stop enjoying yourselves; it just means that if you're still up having a good time with your group past 9 pm, we just need for you to take it inside the house behind closed doors and windows. The idea is so that our neighbors can't hear you. We, like most vacation homes, are located in neighborhoods where people go to bed early and wake up early to go to work, so we must ensure our guests are respectful of this.)

LOCATION:
The property is located within 5 to 15 minutes to excellent dining, shopping, nightlife, great micro-breweries, Sunshine Mountain Winery just down the street, 15 min to Stone Brewery, 15 min to Legoland, 20 min to the Safari Park (aka Wild Animal Park) 45 min from downtown San Diego, 20 min to the beach. Highway 78 is 5 min away, the 15 fwy is 10 min away, and the 5 fwy 15 min away. Also just 5 min away from the train station.

DISCLAIMERS:
You acknowledge and understand that the swimming pool and jacuzzi at this property do NOT have a protection barrier over them, a fence around the perimeter, or any device or system to prevent any person or any pet from entering or falling into the water.

You acknowledge that you understand this particular risk and that you assume all and full responsibility for yourself and everyone in your group, including daytime guests, for any accidents, injuries, illness, or death caused by the swimming pool or jacuzzi that may occur to you or anyone in your group during your stay.

You acknowledge that by making this reservation, you are accepting and agreeing to full responsibility for any and all risks, including but not limited to the hazard posed by the swimming pool and jacuzzi. You furthermore agree to hold harmless and indemnify the property owners and any workers or employees from any financial liabilities or lawsuits. You are expressly assuming the risk and responsibility of any harm arising from you and your guests' use of the premises.

The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of or damage to your personal belongings.

In the event the property experiences a failure of a system, including but not limited to TV, Internet/WiFi, HVAC (heat/AC), water, sewer, septic, electrical, propane, plumbing, mechanical, appliances, ventilating, or other structural systems, furnishings or amenities, owners will make every reasonable effort to promptly repair or replace the failed system or equipment. The property owners shall not be liable for damages, and no refunds will be given for such failures.

Other things to note:
Warning! The swimming pool at this property does not have a child-proof barrier around it and, therefore, can be very dangerous to toddlers, small children, pets, or anyone who can't swim. It is very important that you communicate this to everyone in your group, and that all adults take on the responsibility of being vigilant and protecting those most vulnerable. Please also inform the children of the dangers of drowning and to keep away from the pool when no adults are present. If you book this house, you assume full responsibility for yourself and your group in regard to this particular hazard.

Pool heat: This pool is a “heated pool”, and like all heated pools, it runs on a solar system that turns on automatically when it’s sunny and when the air is warm (80°+) which is usually between May and October. The solar system will likely not run between November and April unless we have an odd warm day. Note that a very nice pool temperature is between 85° and 87° and outside air temperature needs to be very close to that or higher in order for the pool to reach and hold that temperature.

Jacuzzi heat: We control the pool/jacuzzi equipment remotely via a phone app. Just notify us when you want it on and off. Depending on the outside air temperature and the starting temperature of the water, it could take 30 minutes to 1 hour to heat.
This jacuzzi is heated with propane, so we charge a $20/hr fee to cover this cost.
We round up to the full hour and keep track of the total hours used, then bill you on the last night of your stay, or after the first 10 hours of use, whichever comes first.

POOL RULES:
* Glass in or near the pool or jacuzzi is not allowed.
* Running around the pool is not allowed.
* Screaming, yelling, or loud music is not allowed.
* Any noise (audible from outside) is not allowed past 9 pm.
* Please do not remove the pool cleaner/vacuum from the pool. If you do, be sure to disconnect the hose from the skimmer on the side of the pool, and make sure to pug it back in and put it in the water after you’re done using the pool for the day.

The pool area is private and for your use only, no one else has access to it.
Guests are welcome to walk around the 5-acre property and check out all the animals in the different enclosures -FROM OUTSIDE THE FENCING! (guided tours inside the enclosures are available upon request).

Recurring maintenance:
Landscaping occurs on Tuesdays.
Trash bins will be taken to the street on Tuesdays and put back on Wednesdays.
Pool cleaning happens every Wednesday.
Pest control happens on the second Tuesday of every month.
Care for chickens happens 2 to 3 times weekly.

Q & As:

Q: Can you explain the rooms behind the master suite? How many kids would be able to comfortably stay in that area? What is the bed set up?
A: The two small rooms in the back are separated by the main master suite's bathroom area. The two small rooms can be accessed through two of the master suites and they also have their own door to the outside of the home. The larger of these two small rooms has a daybed with a pop-up trundle, so essentially two twin beds that can be used either separately or together to make a king-size bed; The other little room has two XL twin portable hotel beds that can be used either there in that small room or can be wheeled over to any place in the house you wish. Either 4 kids or 4 adults could sleep on these beds.
