The staff were very friendly and we experienced the most efficient check in of any hotel. Very quick, no wasted effort, and a friendly exchange with the counter staff. "We opted for demi pension which was really good value. Room was very clean and comfortable although a little snug. Restaurant was excellent with lots of choice, menu plus A La Carte. Breakfast also excellent and service was superb. Only disappointment was car parking - from the description we had assumed parking was on site and secure not across the road on the open verge. Very quiet area, opposite a canal with good walks nearby."

"We turned up at the hotel for a 3nights extended bank holidays weekend just to find out that the hotel was privatised and fully booked with nowhere to sleep in town or in the neighbouring villages !!! Owner refused to speak to Hotels.com since apparently he has only signed a contract with Expedia (but didn’t acknowledge it was the same company!) and refused to speak English... Hotels.com was not able to sort it out not find anywhere else and we had to drive back home 3hrs in the other direction...

"It was a wonderful hotel and the staff was very friendly. We arrived late and no parking was available we had to park in a public lot about 2 blocks away. We had dinner our first night and were disappointed with the limited menu and they seems to be short staff. We think because no place in Chablis is open on Sunday night, everyone in town was eating at the hotel. We didn’t have the breakfast, but it looked fabulous. That said, we did have a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. "
