Front veranda fenced so children can be secure at the front with two outdoor settings. Sleeps up to 6 people with linen included (A family, or 3 couples) 1 king size bed, 2 king single beds and 2 single beds. (2 toilets).
Undercover parking for one car available, space for 3 cars if needed.
Tourist Attractions include beautiful Vivonne Bay and the Harriet River. Only 30 mins from Seal Bay and Raptor Domain, and 40 mins to Flinders Chase (Admiral Arch and Remarkable Rocks.
Vivonne Bay has one General Store (that sells everything)!
It is 40 minutes drive to Kingscote. A car is needed on the Island to access the tourist sights. Kangastay is close to Seal Bay, Admiral Arch, The Remarkables, Hanson Bay Koala sanctuary. Little Sahara, Raptor Domain, KI Outdoor Centre, Parndana Wildlife Park, Kelly Hill Caves and Point Ellen headland.

Local Attractions are numerous. The house provides a comfortable 'home' to relax after travels and sight seeing.
It is possible to explore many wonderful walks from the house. We have a tame possum and there are many of Kangaroo Island's birds, koalas, wallabies, kangaroos and echidnas in the surrounding bushland.
There is boating (canoes can be hired locally), swimming, snorkeling, surfing and fishing.
The Harriet river is suitable for swimming and boating. (See the photos on the Vivonne Bay local knowledge page). Safe beach areas, snorkelling, surfing.
The river also provides good fishing for bream, and tommy rough right at the front door (40m). Vivonne Bay provides surf and jetty fishing for whiting, salmon, mullet and many other species.
Just across the river from the house is a well equipped Outdoor centre with surfboards, canoe hire and quad bike tours etc.
