"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

"We loved our stay The Millers Cottage. The property is beautiful - exactly the Italian countryside stay we were looking for. "Only one item to be aware of, the charge for electricity will be at least €150 per week. I assume that this was because the filtration on the swimming pool was running perhaps 18 hours a day. We visited in mid-September and only used the air conditioning for a couple of hours a day for less than half of our stay, so that wasn’t the issue. "The resort has an array of facilities – pools, basketball and soccer courts, restaurant and spa. They also have a fair amount of dining options. The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. Georgia helped me find a local osteopath to treat a recurring back issue, which helped. I do think the house keeping of the rooms need to pay more attention to details – my room wasn’t swept properly and the bathroom has hair from the previous guest. "

"Great surprise! Wonderful hotel built on original historic architecture in the center of town. We arrived late but were greeted so well by Michel. He was very helpful as were the other staff at the front desk. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go back! Oh yes, and lovely breakfast space."

"The staff was so wonderful and warm to (Jaime Melo and Sal and Nonno Baglieri) special gratitude to Ritonela Federico and Biagio. They helped beyond expectation to all our needs. Changing of room was done immediately and smoothly. We all felt so welcomed and would promote this great Family resort to everyone who appreciates peace and quiet and amazing staff. "A lovely well situated boutique hotel in Ragusa, overlooking the main square and steps from everything in the walking area of this scenic and historic old town. A converted former mansion whose young owner takes pride in explaining the challenges she overcame in renovating the historic palazzio. Personal artistic touches are everywhere and the owner takes great care in describing, preparing and even joining her staff in serving up a beautiful Sicilian breakfast daily. A perfect bed & breakfast experience —and the best we had in Sicily!"

Enchanting Villa, with private pool and enchanting views of Etna Vulcano

Idealic estate

"My wife and I invited friends to join us for a week at Villa Stella. We all had a wonderful time enjoying the prime property on a cliff overlooking Mt Etna and Mediterranean Sea. The property and building is just amazing place to enjoy with friends. The stonework needs a lot of pointing and areas of rebuilding but am amazed at the work that was put into the building in its construction years past. I am a long distance swimmer and was in heaven having quiet waters to swim in. The only issue which is common in the Mediterranean now days are the jellyfish population. If I return I would bring a full body suit and gloves to better prevent possible stings on my long swims. On one stroke I punched down into the center of the bell and luckily did not get stung as the tentacles are on the underside. A car is a must to enjoy the exquisite restaurants in nearby brucoli which is a 15 min drive. recommended for high end dining is Straventa and Castello. The closest restaurant has great laidback fare across the bay on the beach is Il Triangolo. The only drawback is like I said needs a lot of work to make it perfect but if that happens I probably couldn’t afford to stay at it,so as long as you are fine with a few imperfect items you will love it."
