"The listing here doesn't mention that these are essentially student dorms. Nothing wrong with that at all and these are really well priced and quite nice dorms at that. Given these house students, you can see some hard miles on the property but maintenance is kept up. It's a very good budget stay and reasonably close to some restaurants and shopping. It's not terribly close to the main beach (~8 minutes by bike, ~25-30 minutes walk). I wouldn't rule it out for future stays."

"Access to the hotel is via a large gate on the main street. Other than the signage on the gate, the property is not visible from the main street. The hotel surrounds a lovely garden. The hotel is very well kept. The room was spacious, simple but well maintained and comfortable. Parking is on street or at Jean Bart underground parking at the top of the street, I would definitely utilise again."

"The apartment was in a great location, literally a stone's throw from the seafront. The apartment had everything we needed, but we did have a problem with the beds - the description said one bedroom had single beds in, the other a double. We brought bedcovers to fit these beds and has such had to buy a double set on our first day in France. I"

"This is excellent place to stay, clean spacious and well equipped. Only issue is arrive after 6pm, you are directed to the main site of four in the town. It has no staff and after messing around finally called for help, to advise the correct site. Simply advise which site on communication with the necessary access codes. Otherwise perfect."

"Une belle maison en centre-ville à proximité des transports en commun gratuits, à 10 min en voiture de la plage de Malo-Les-Bains, 15 min de celle de Leffrinckoucke (accessible aux chiens). Logement soigné, bien équipé et spacieux pour 6 personnes. Les étages sont bien isolés du rez-de-chaussé. Stationnement aisé et gratuit. "This was a fantastic last minute booking. The apartment was just under an hour drive from the Le Shuttle terminal, incredibly easy to find, check-in, we were able to park directly outside the front of the apartment, and the area has two Carrefour supermarkets nearby (one within walking distance, and the other just a few minutes drive away, which you pass on your way to the apartment). "We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. "We only have 5+ remarks for our stay! The host was terrific...nice and very responsive. The property is an oasis of beautifully manicured nature. It is a large piece of property that is secure, private and well taken care of. It was like camp for the children between being able to safely roam freely, ride provided bikes, utilize the pool/climbing structure/trampoline and more! The house is fantastic and really well built. Lots of great open space with wonderful natural light and huge windows....

"The house is facing the water, with a small garden at the back. Parking is plentiful. It’s really quiet but a free boat crosses the water for about 6 hours a day… there are lots of bars / restaurants on the other side. The house is beautiful - 5 bedrooms, with the top floor having 5 single beds with an en-suite shower and toilet. All rooms were large and comfortable. A good kitchen with everything you’d need for a stay. Lovely dining room/ lounge. Would really recommend for a family."
