"Beautiful, quiet and clean. Nice break from the bustle of Florence. Location is on the other side of the transition stop so get an uber if you have a lot luggage, otherwise it’s about a 35 minute walk if yo have a backpack. Because it’s on the other side, the hotel has a lovely garden with a view of the countryside. Breakfast was included and nice, including the well made cappuccino. "

The food is also very good, and the overall atmosphere is charming. However, the bed was terrible. The mattress was old, and the springs made it very uncomfortable, so I couldn’t sleep well. I’ve stayed in many different hotels and have never experienced such a bad bed. I understand that the concept and vibe of the place are meant to feel historic or classic, but for a property of this level, the bed should match the quality of the rest of the experience. Upgrading the mattresses would make a big difference."

They took their time to help me with a small explanation when i inquired about my final billing and cleared up any confusions i had in a timely manner without delay via email . Would love to revisit and will be telling friends and family of our experience . "
