"This was a wonderful place to stay on our first visit ever to Salzburg. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The little artificial artful stream running down in front of the entrance was fun. It's in a limited traffic area, so the taxi guy had a remote that lowered the barrier so he could drive us right to the door. There are some great restaurants at very reasonable prices in easy walking distance, and shops too, though very touristy shops and expensive, but we didn't come to buy...

"We found the room and bathroom to be clean. The breakfast is served at the Max 70 Hotel around the corner, it was good with a variety of breads, pastries, fruits, coffee of course, juices… you have a choice to seat indoors and outdoors. The only thing I have to say is the parking situation. There are not enough parking spaces for all the guests, and then there is no other choice but to park at the Max 70 Hotel for a fee of €15 for overnight parking."

"The hotel is great. It is clean, it has a gym, a sauna, and nice roodtop bar as well. We had a larger room for three adults and it was very comfortable. Right near the train station, highly recommend it if you are traveling to/from Salzburg by train. "

"We had a nice stay at the Imlauer & Brau. Food was great at both breakfast & dinner. The hotel staff were so wonderful & went out of their way to help us. The beds were super comfy. My only complaint was there was no lotion, the shampoo was a combo shampoo/body wash & the shower had only a tiny glass partition so the floor was covered in water after every shower. "This hotel is an easy walk from the Old City through the Sigmundstor (tunnel). There are also several bus lines that stop right in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and (at least if you have a room facing towards the back of the hotel) quiet, and is a good value compared to some other hotels I looked at in Salzburg.
