If the Happy Place would have been on the 1st floor , The review would have been much higher. The keyless entry system would not work properly and the host gave us her code. "The property is average for a beachfront condo style hotel in the area. The room that we paid for online was described as a king bed complete with a picture of the bed and bedroom. While the picture of the living room area was accurate, the bedroom picture bore no semblance to the actual bedroom and its furniture. The bed was somewhere between full and queen in size, but closer to full. The mattress was by far the worst mattress I've slept on since my college days."

"There is not adequate parking for the condos, and when I called the property manager, they were not very helpful. They basically said sorry, you have to find your own parking. "Location was great. Room was nice but the reason its not a 5 star in all areas is because we weren't able to use the gym. It was locked all the days we were there. And some minor repairs in the unit need done. Like new pull out matresses, they were horrible. And some broken mortar by the entrance and some frames that were broken but still on the walls."

"My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at The Surf Shack! When we arrived everything was just as listed and very clean. The house is in a very good/quiet neighborhood and is literally just steps away from the beach. Angie was great to communicate with (especially since we had to completely reschedule our vacation) she was very helpful and always very quick to respond. Overall we loved our time and we hope to visit again soon!"
