"A group of girlfriends and I did a ladies weekend of shopping and celebrating, using Charmaine’s property as our homey hub. We were less than ten minutes from great attractions and restaurants such as Magnolia, Bitty & Beau’s Coffee, Fabled Bookshop, Hecho en Waco, and Pivovar. The kitchen was the best feature of the house, accommodating our morning coffee chats and the cooking we did. The island is huge and there were eight of us. The queen beds were very comfortable as well. A few things to be aware of: the stairs were crafted a hundred years, so use caution. The showers in one or two of the bathrooms are more ideal for nimble people, whose height is between 5 feet to 5 feet 11 inches 😂 They are claw foot tubs converted into showers. More cute than functional, but we managed. Overall, it was a wonderful stay."
