"Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely cottage. Loved the location being so close to the lake.Everything was clean and tidy. There were dog Poos left behind from previous tenants so we cleaned them up. My only suggestion would be to please leave a manual for the oven. Had us totally confused! We were here for a dog Trial in Tokoroa and hesitated about the travel each day but was definitely worth it. Again, many thanks. Maree"

"We really enjoyed staying in this bach. It was super comfortable, clean, and the perfect location. The shower is amazing - I wish mine at home was like this one. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of Mangakino. Janna made our stay super easy and special. We will definitely return and stay here again!"

"The surrounding is beautiful and close bye everything where we came for. Many lamps didn’t work. There were no pictures of the 2 sleeping eras below in the ship on the information site. They had no comfort and had not a pleasant smell, what keep some of us awake. All in all much too expensive what we got!"

"The iron was full of rust and caravan needs some cleaning. Cleaners came about 10am while checkout time was at 11am. Please improve these things."

"We stayed for 1 night. The accommodation has everything you need. It was quirky and fun. All rooms very clean and comfortable. Our child loved the bunk bed room. We were very happy to have the milk and bread etc. The night sky was amazing to see from here. Would thoroughly recommend!"

"This property would certainly be a five star location had a few details not been overlooked. The address is incorrect, we spent approx 45 minutes trying to locate the property after driving from AKL in the dark and with rain. It’s actually lot 10 on Lemonwood. I recommend arriving in daylight and note the lot numbers are very small on the fence. There was not one extra trash bag or a location to place the trash. We requested to check out one day early five weeks before the trip and they refused...

"Great spot, very local to all we wanted to do. Homemade bread, bacon & eggs were a enjoyable extra. Only problem was no lighting in the garage and the gas bottle for the bbq was empty, meaning a quick change of dinner plans."

"Lovely place to stay, but i found it cold. Should had taken more warm clothes with me lol. Close enough to the Waitiomo Caves if you would like to take the family and chill out."

"The property was just like the photos and we had an awesome stay. The only thing missing from the setup was a microwave which meant we didn’t have enough time to make porridge before our competition. If only we’d noticed earlier! Thanks for having us"

We loved our stay
