"A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!" Which is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern idea of sense of humour, maybe."

Although my room directly faced towards the Christmas markets and the children’s rides across the street, I barely heard the noise from my room. Breakfast buffet was fairly standard, no complaints. I do wish there was a coffee/tea maker in my room; however. Overall, good value and location."
