"This is the second time we have stayed as my sister lives nearby. Spotlessly clean again and the hosts were there to check us in early. Gunter and Ulrika are so kind to our children, letting them play with toys in their house and garden. Nice touches are added like wine on arrival and snacks and chocolate for the kids. "Two families traveling together found this home to be the perfect home base from which to up and down the Rhine to see castles, castles, vineyards, and more castles. This hillside house was very comfortable, featured a lovely terrace surrounded by grapevines. Situated in the small country village of Sauerthal if felt as though our visit brought the most excitement the townsfolk had seen in ages. This is a perfect location for visiting Rhineland if you want a quiet, rustic, authentic experience."

"Fantastically clean property with very comfortable rooms and bed. Excellent kitchen with all amenities, good bathroom (with washing machine as well). It's in a quieter residential area uphill from St Goar train station so quite a steep walk if you don't have a car. Steffi the owner was really helpful and friendly and picked me up from the train station with my cases and offered to take me to places like supermarkets for food. A really great place to stay. "Great communication with a friendly host. Check in was easy, including a thorough walk through of the unit. New and modern apartment that was in perfect condition. Easy access to house and our apartment with a key. Short walk to Magdalenenhof Weingut (good restaurant and vinothek). 20 minute walk to tourist area and boat/train stations.
